We will be closed Friday, May 1st, for the May Day Strong movement in recognition of the workers of the world. The purpose is to highlight “workers over billionaires, taxing the rich, demanding ICE out, money for people not wars, and expanding democracy.”
We hope you, too, can take the day to reflect on ways to make the world a better place: a place that is more inclusive, less vindictive, and reflects values that treat all of humanity in a way that emphasizes fairness, equality, and justice.
We have a window display highlighting peace movements, activism, and protests of many kinds, particularly those related to civil disobedience.
